Michael Winehouse is no ordinary Maccabi League footballer. On May 19, he will line up alongside some footballing legends at Stamford Bridge, raising funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

The cousin of R&B diva Amy has been suffering from the genetic illness since birth.

An Employment Advisor in Walthamstow, Winehouse will play in a charity match with Kenny Dalglish, Les Ferdinand, Graeme Le Saux, sprinter Darren Campbell and TV presenter Ben Shepherd.

Prone to chest infections, the Arsenal fan has been on medication and antibiotics since childhood. He said: “I play football when I feel fit and well enough. I find that the more exercise I do the better I feel.”
