An extra-time strike from Steve Summers booked Redbridge Jewish Care A’s place in the second round of the London FA Sunday Intermediate Cup at the expense of Turkish team Turmenjoy Aydin Spor Kulubu. Craig Johnstone had opened the scoring for the East Londoners.

Chaim Gothold (2) and Gav Noe were on the mark as Hendon United B overcame Caribb FC 3-1.

A hat-trick from Josh Lewis plus one from Daniel Cordell helped L’Equipe thump Team JLGB 4-1 in the preliminary round of the JC Cyril Anekstein Cup. They will meet UJIA in round one. Ian Levy scored JLGB’s consolation.

Second half strikes from Lee Cash (2) and Matt Stock gave defending champions North West Neasden A a 3-0 win over Faithfold A in the JC MSFL Premier Division. NWN joint-manager Daniel Fox commented: “We knew that we would win if we scored first. It ended up being a comfortable victory.”
