London Lions boss Tony Gold reckons his boys are ready to roar following their opening day success.
After falling behind within the first 45 seconds to London Colney, Lions hit back through Andy Glynne and the returning Dean Nyman.
And Gold, whose team lost out to London Colney twice last season, says he is delighted with his team's start to the new season.
"I have nothing but admiration for this Lions squad," he said.
"Following last week's embarrassment at Berkhamsted in the cup, the lads have responded in the only way they could with a gutsy, hard working and technically superb 90 minutes of football.
"We now have something to build on and work towards.
"It is important we don't get carried away, a lot of hard work is still required."
Reeling from conceding such an early goal, Lions improved after the break and grabbed a deserved equaliser when Glynne turned home Ben Ellis's cross.
Lions began to dominate with Gold's men looking the more likely to win the game.
And with less than half an hour remaining, Nyman raced onto substitute Josh Kennet's beautifully weighted through ball to seal the points.
London Lions: Danny Berliner, David Soutar, Adam Myeroff, Ollie Craig (Adam Klein), Kyle Bentwood, Andy Glynne (Avi Schwartz), Aron Barnes, Daniel Stanton, TJ Keterman (Josh Kennet), Ben Ellis, Dean Nyman.
