Time trials were featured in the first four days with the Junior Men’s Individual Time Trial on Monday, centred on a small circuit in Harrogate.

Danish rider William Blume Levy (18) took 12th place at 1 min. 19.01secs. down in 39min 47.26secs. Israeli Oded Koget (18) finished in the later section at 1min.56.95secs. in 40min.25.2secs.

Torrential rain on Tuesday delayed the start of the Elite women’s Individual Time Trial while efforts were made to clear standing water. Israel’s TT Champion, Rotem Gafinovitz suffered from the poor conditions on the tough 32km  route from Ripon to finish 37th in Harrogate, 6min.52.41sec down in 49.03.98secs.

Israel’s Road Champion, Omer Shapira, 25, held second place for some considerable time but, as the weather improved slightly for the later riders, she moved down to 12th place in 46min 41.03secs.
