Tony Bloom was Down Under just a few days ago – but the Brighton chairman is on top of the world after his club secured a dream FA Cup tie at Liverpool.
Bloom, who flew back from Australia last week, was in the cheap seats last time the Seagulls visited Anfield for an FA Cup tie back in 1991.
Boyhood fan Bloom has already seen his side knock out Sunderland in the Carling Cup and defeat Newcastle in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Kenny Dalglish's Liverpool triumphed 2-1 at the AMEX in the Carling Cup in September on their way to booking a place in February's final.
But Bloom's boys are desperate for revenge and the Albion owner will swap his view from behind the goal for the luxury of the Directors Box some 21 years after Brighton's last visit.
"I remember going to Anfield about 20 years ago when we drew 2-2 and I thought the atmosphere was fantastic," he said.
"I thought Liverpool probably just deserved to beat us earlier in the season but we played well in the second half.
"We've beaten both Newcastle and Sunderland already this season and we'll have a great away support so hopefully we can do something special.
"It will be a very difficult game but it's just great for the club and the fans to have such a big draw in the fifth round."
"The FA Cup is the premier cup competition in the world and we want to do well in it."
