A stunning last-gasp winner from Josh Bharier boosted Scrabble FC's title hopes as they won a seven-goal thriller against an outstanding Los Blancos team who boss Ray Abrahams admitted didn't deserve to lose.

MGBSFL DIVISION ONE
LOS BLANCOS 3 SCRABBLE FC 4
This was one for the neutrals and a fantastic game of football played on the ground by two teams who like to bring down the ball and play.
There was plenty of nostalgia, with Scrabble's Adam Waters playing against his old team and Blancos' Mitchell Green, who won the Division Two title with Scrabble last season, having a huge influence on the game.
The game started with both teams going close on several occasions but on 25 minutes it was Waters corner which sailed into the net through a group of players and eluded the desperate hands of the Blancos keeper.
As the half was coming to an end a loose ball found Scrabble's Sherman in the box who spun round and fired in low.The ref said it hadn't crossed the line but the Scrabble boys protested it had and Sherman was lectured by the ref.
Nobody expected the second half to be a classic and on 55 minutes Blancos equalised with a back-flick from Scrabble old boy Green.
Blancos then went ahead 10 minutes later with a powerful header from a corner to make it 2-1.
Scrabble hauled themselves level on 70 minutes when a neat move between Sam Stead and Danny Sherman and Sherman fired home.2-2
With 15 minutes to go a Scrabble counter-attack was started and finished by Sam Stead who thought he'd fired in the winner.3-2
But Blancos weren't finished and almost immediately Green fired in his second to level the scores at 3-3.
Scrabble manager Abrahams wanted to win this one and immediately took off a defender and sent on striker Tom Prevezer and in a 3-5-2 the gamble paid off in the last seconds of added time when a long range pile-driver from Josh Bharier gave the Blancos keeper no chance and there was no coming back this time from Blancos.
An exhausted Scrabble boss Ray Abrahams told JC Sport: "What a classic. What a game. A real advert for this league with two fully committed sides looking to get the ball down and play some fantastic football.
"We felt we were unfortunate not to be given the goal that without doubt I felt crossed the line in the first half and that may have changed the game but we are delighted to have won our fourth league game in a row and in some style.
"There were times in this game when we looked every bit promotion candidates and yet again I am so proud of the effort the lads put in to win this one against a very good side who must have felt gutted to lose in the dying moments. But Blancos deserve all the credit for a terrific performance against us and they are a great bunch of guys who play the game the right way.
"We've got six cup finals from now to the end of the season and after today's results it looks like a three horse race for the title. We will give it everything in every game and see where it takes us.
"We've started scoring goals as well now that's 15 in four games. It's not going to be easy though because all the sides at the top are on fire and the games between us will decide things but we started the season with a target of going up and that hasn't changed.
"We will give it our best shot and try and pick up the points we need to finish in the top two."
