Bafana Bafana eased their relegation fears after hammering 2005 Premier Division champions Faithfold A 5-1. Simon Lawrence (3) and Aron Lawee (2) did the damage against a Faithfold team that had two players sent off and finished with eight after another had to leave early. Andrew Wolfin grabbed Faithfold’s consolation.

A brace from Gary Cohen put Montana Boca United A within touching distance of promotion from Division One after they beat Camden Park 2-0. Already-promoted Glenthorne United were forced to put title celebrations on ice after they were thumped 4-1 by North West Neasden B. Strikes from Stevie Krein, Ben Forman, Bruno Frankel and Adam Klein boosted Neasden’s promotion hopes.

A hat-trick from wonderkid Roie Spitzer plus a penalty from top-scorer Assi Avital kept alive Golders Green’s hopes of avoiding the drop after they beat fellow strugglers Faithfold B 4-1. Simon Wax claimed Faithfold B’s consolation. Jason Sears and Johnny Winton helped Brady beat Chigwell B 2-1. Ian Bean, Alex Bourne and James Sandler were among the scorers as Southgate Harmen A ended their season on a high with a 4-0 success over Hendon B.

Oakwood B face an anxious wait to see if they will be crowned Division Two champions after they were held to a draw by Brixton Old Boys. Robert Bloch and Daniel Geey scored for the Os who hold a nine-point lead over South Mancs A who have three games in hand. Relegated Life FC sprung a surprise when they claimed only their second league win of the campaign against already-promoted Neasden C.
