Arnold inspires six-hitting Brady

Brady effectively had tie won inside the opening 25 minutes after racing into a 4-0 lead as Stirling Kay's reign as NWN boss got off to a bad start. They controlled the first half with our passing game creating numerous chances and took the lead with a own goal following a cross from Jake Rinsler.

The visitors quickly doubled the lead with a well-taken goal from Arnold. NWN tried to come back Brady were always in control and Green made it three with a well struck shot from an acute angle.

The fourth goal was the best of the batch 10 minutes before half time when Rinsler went on a jinking run played a one two with Arnold and then laid the ball off to Green who played the advancing Arnold in behind the defence to slot home.

Brady started the second half sluggishly and allowed NWN a sniff with a defensive mistake which they capitalised on through Dan Orgel.

Whilst NWN thought they could get something out of the game, Brady never looked like giving anything away and continued to control the game.

Arnold completed his hat-trick running onto a lively through ball and Lerner finished the goals off with a close range finish.

Neasden boss Stirling Kay believes there were some positives to take away from the game. He told JC Sport: "It was men against boys early on - Brady were stronger faster and brighter, we were so far off the pace. Brady were very good we were very bad."

"However in the second half we went out and undoubtly were the better team - carving out five one-on-ones, but we could not convert four of them. We were stronger quicker and we created chance after chance. But as a team were very pleased the way we reacted to the first half. We learnt that when you play top teams you have to pay for 90 minutes, not 45. But over 90 minutes it was a well deserved win for Brady."
