South Manchester failed to capitalise on a promising start as they fell to a 45 run defeat against Knight Riders in the Greater Manchester Amatuer League.

Shaya Rabinowitz, Akiva Lieberman and Huddy Lieberman asked questions of the Knight Riders top-order, with Rabinowitz claiming 3-30 in an impressive spell.

South were soon in control as Knight Riders collapsed to 84-7 but they could not finish off the job as the last three wickets brought 100 runs.

Dovid Black and David Shonfield piled on the runs at the start of the South reply, but it was Akiva Lieberman who once again top-scored, adding 66 runs in a knock that included one mammoth six.
