Abridge were the dominant force at the AJGC&S Seniors tournament at Shirley Golf Club.
The Essex club lifted the Coombe Hill Trophy after returning an aggregate score 10 shots better than Moor Allerton, who took home the Potters Bar Trophy as runners-up.
Despite the difficulty of the course, Lance Pomerance of Abridge, returned a gross score of 77 for the Hartsbourne Trophy, beating his fellow club members, Laurence Green and Gary Specterman by two shots, with
Green winning the Sussex Trophy on a card play-off Shirley had success in the net categories with Trevor Faber returning a 71 and winning the Dyrham Park Trophy for best net score.
The Whitefield Trophy for runner-up net prize saw a four-way tie with Cyril Cohen winning on a card playoff after they all returned scores of net 72.
The Association of Jewish Golf Clubs & Societies organised the event for male golfers over the age of 55.
