Ricky Ansher, standing in front of Gareth Barry, was one of the mascots for England at the recent World Cup qualifier against the Ukraine at Wembley.

The Rosh Pinah pupil, aged 10, enjoyed “an amazing experience” after winning a competition.

Spurs fan Ansher, who plays for Brady Maccabi Under 11s in the Watford Friendly League, said: “Nothing will ever beat it. I was so nervous but made loads of friends with all the other mascots and flag bearers.

“I was given great seats and watched the game with my mum, dad and sister Charlotte. I love the new kit I was given and have already had Aaron Lennon’s name and number printed on.”
