Newly crowned Division Two champions London Maccabi Vale 1st maintained their unbeaten Middlesex Sunday League record after recording a 108-run victory over SKPP.

Sent in to bat, LMV made full use of the 40 overs with captain Adam Brand (71) continuing his purple patch. Opener Danny Caro (30) anchored the innings with Mark Bott blasting his way to an unbeaten 46.

The wicket did not improve in the second innings as SKPP were dismissed for 127. Saul Weitzman (4-22) was the pick of the bowlers with Ryan Kangisser claiming 3-44.

Reflecting on promotion, LMV chairman Terry Hyman said: "I'm really proud how the team has performed, sometimes under considerable pressure from several other good teams in the division. We're confident that our new-found cohesion and enthusiasm will hold us in good stead for 2011."
