NOMINATIONS
REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE A
Ryan Cole (LB) - possibly his best performance in a Redbridge shirt, simply brilliant going forward and in defence
Sam McCarthy (HM) - simple distribution, great positional sense and real passion in the tackle
James Berkley - unsung hero who scored 2 and ran himself into the ground
-----------------
L'EQUIPE
Mark Korn (CM)- a debut to be so proud of. Korn is so composed on the ball it’s a joy to watch. He links the whole team together and I can’t wait to see what the rest of the season brings.
James Bell (M) - Bell is back, that’s what the fans were singing on the sidelines.. all two of them. Bell was everywhere on Sunday, defending, attacking, doing the dirty work followed by a Cryuff-turn now we just need him to stay fit! He hit the bar, worked the keeper three of four times and then was seen defending for his life in the last five minutes. Welcome back Mr Bell!
REFEREE - Martin Fox as he was fantastic. It has turned into a real battle with Raiders over the past years with tempers flaring often but he kept everything calm and I personally wanted to say a big thank you
-----------------
RCUK FC
Gideon Caller (RB) - was up and down the line all game in hot conditions wasn't beaten once and was neat and tidy when further up
Dovi Vogel (CB) - our vice-captain and captain on the day. Also our most versatile player and utility man. Played 80 minutes at the back and won everything in the air and on the floor. Never panicked and played beautiful football out from the back. Went to the wing for the last five minutes and scored the goal his performance deserved
Leor Harel (CDM) - not sure if a Jewish lad or Claude Makelele. Broke up their play over and over, worked tirelessly the entire game sat in with the other CBs to play across the back. controlled the game for rcuk and was the driving force for the team to get on the front foot against a tough opposition
Akiva Zneimer (all across midfield) - Akiva was everywhere, everything attacking went through him. Didn't matter who was marking him he beat him over and over all game and was constantly at the heart of everything RCUK. Capped his performance off with a fine goal
Jonti Aremband (RW/LW) - What more can I say then four finely taken goals. Our man of the match, just couldn't be handled by Real Hendon
-----------------
HENDON UNITED SPORTS CLUB A
Zac Lewis (S) – great start to the season – lovely hat-trick and could have had more – a constant menace
Greg Corin (LB) – played at left-back and exuded class from start to end – a faultless display
-----------------
FAITHFOLD B
Richard Fogelman (S) - After two missed seasons, Schnitzelman was made a dream debut for the Superhoops with three qualify strikes ... two outside the box and one rounded the keeper
-----------------
NORTH LONDON RAIDERS C
Joel Levitt (CM) - impressed on his raiders debut and very unlucky to be on the losing side. Lev will no doubt be a key figure in the NLR midfield over the course of the season
-----------------
FINCHLEY CITY FC
Josh Aziz (CM) - exemplary performance from the man-of-the-match and skipper
Alon Pinhas (RM) - ran riot down the right
Jamie Gurvitz (D) - a colossal at the back
-----------------
WOODFORD WANDERERS
Elliot Gold (RB) - had by a country mile, his best ever performance in a Woodford shirt, didn’t deserve to be on the losing team
Daniel Wexler (LB) - looked as though he’d been with us for years
