Danny Caro's Goal of the Week: January 31

articlemain

This week's award goes to a player that not only sent the opposition goalkeeper and defender the wrong way, but also the crowd.

Picture a keenly contested cup semi-final - a time when cool heads were needed. HADLEY SILVER was the coolest man in town, Max Radford's crossfield pass was expertly taken on the run by Silver, whose outrageous dummy of the keeper and covering defender (he sold it to all watching too!) was a skill to behold, opening up the goal for him to tap home before being mobbed by his team mates. Sheer class – as good a finish as you’ll see

BEST OF THE REST

- ZAC LEWIS (Hendon A) - a brilliant free-kick

- JAMES RYAN (Woodford) - Alex Aviram whipped in yet another free-kick that Ryan audaciously flicked behind him and into the top corner

- ALEX ELF (NL Raiders C) - the striker didn't need long to impose himself on this game. Just shy of 15 minutes he curled a screamer into the top corner from 25 yards

- OLIVER TELVI (NL Raiders C) - GOAL 1 - lifted a strike from range over the keeper less than a minute into the second half
