The Foreign Minister of Bahrein, Sheikh Khaled bin Ahmed al-Khalifa, in an interview with the London-based Arabic daily, al-Hayat (probably one of the few free thinking newspapers in the Arabic-speakin world), has urged the establishment of a Middle East-wide organisation to help resolve the region's problems.
He goes further, suggesting that the organisation include Israel, Iran and Turkey.
Forgive my poor Arabic translation, but he said: "Let them sit together in one group, even if there is a conflict between us. That's the way to resolve our problems in this difficult time."
Doesn't it make you feel all fuzzy and warm?
