Skydiving students from Leeds JSoc helped raise more than £2,000 for the Emunah children’s home in Afula, northern Israel.
James Neidle, Michael Kosky, Ronen Feiner and Gila Scherer jumped from 15,000 feet over an airfield in Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire.
Theology and religious studies student Mr Feiner, 21, said: “You are so well briefed — and it all happens so quickly — there is no time to be nervous, just very excited.”
Mr Neidle said: “It felt like I was flying,” after feeling the “jolt” of the parachute opening.
