MACCABI MANCHESTER 3rd 2 REICH INSURANCE RANGERS 2
Richard Hamburger admits Maccabi Manchester 3rds paid the price for their rotation policy following the 2-2 draw against Reich Insurance.
The young hosts were heading for a routine wins thanks to goals from Louis Rawling and Moshe Hassid.
But a late change backfired as Reich Insurance Rangers hit back late on to snatch a point.
Maccabi boss Richard Hamburger told JC Sport: "We were cruising home, but we wanted to test out our squad towards the end.
"The reshuffle unsettled us a little and we lost our shape and concentration. It was disappointing not to win, but it has still be a good season.
"We have made progress and the leading sides know they face a real tough test against us."
Hamburger is now switching is attention to the cup competitions ahead of their quarter-final appearance in the Shonn Trophy and their last-four spot in the Harry Feldman Trophy.
He added: "We are in with a real chance and we will put our efforts into winning a trophy.
"If we can win some silverware then it will be the icing on the cake."
