Having spent 15 years as a television producer, Kym Kester has taken to a different form of production: she makes brownies.
Mrs Kester, 36, who was a producer on Channel 4's hit reality show Big Brother for seven series, has left the TV world to set up Brownie Points, an online firm which delivers edible gifts of brownies - as opposed to flowers - after her home-baked goodies were a hit with the BB production team.
A mother of two, Mrs Kester tells People: "I have been baking brownies at home for a few years and would bring them into the Big Brother gallery. People would know me just as much for the show as they would for my brownies, and someone suggested I should sell them. I do miss the buzz of Big Brother but it's lovely to be doing something at home which I have started."
A former freelance producer, Mrs Kester has also worked on ITV's Ant and Dec Saturday Night Takeaway and Blind Date. What is BB presenter Davina McCall like? "As she is a mum herself she gives all pregnant ladies on the show her 'birth chat'. She is very caring. I am very fond of her."
