Rabbi Aaron Balkany is to return to the States at the end of July. Ohio-born Rabbi Balkany, 38, has been head of Jewish education at King David Primary for the past 11 years. He also served as minister of Greenbank Drive Synagogue and, since the shul's recent closure, has been acting minister at Allerton Hebrew Congregation. He is to take up the post of principle at the Rabbi Alexander Gross Hebrew Academy's middle school in Miami. Rabbi Balkany said: "It was a privilege to work for the Liverpool community."
