When we were away on holiday in France, we are grateful to have a lovely garden there.

One morning, as I walked into our living room I saw a black mini car (like a child's racing car) zooming along the grass towards us. I was shocked and a bit nervous, as I couldn't see anyone around operating this little black thing heading in our direction.

As it moved closer towards our current home, it suddenly stopped, turned directions and headed back to the end of the garden.

After watching it a bit longer, I realised that this was an automatic lawnmower (a bit like a rumba hoover – if you have ever seen something like that).
