Food is a necessity.

Without it we cannot live, and everyday we need to eat enough to give us energy for the day. Hashem could have easily just created small white pills for us that would provide us with our basic nutrients.

Yet, He chose to create all different kinds of plants and trees, with diverse textures and tastes in order for us to enjoy and benefit from them.

Bright red peppers, water filled cucumbers, mini peas in a pod, wheat that can be baked into soft fresh bread, sweet and crunchy red apples, yellow smooth bananas that provide Potassium and Vitamin K.
