The TV reality pairing of Peter Andre and Katie Price is set to end after the couple announced they are to separate.
No reason for the split has been given by the pair, who met on the ITV show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in 2004. They married at Highclere Castle Hampshire a year later
The 30-year-old Jewish model and charity supporter and 36-year-old singer have been featuring in their own fly-on-the-wall TV show. But they have now issued a statement requested “that the media respect their families' privacy at this difficult time".
The couple have two children - Junior, three, and Princess Tiaamii, one. Ms Price, also known as Jordan, has another son, Harvey, six, from a previous relationship.
Katie is said to have wept after making the announcement. The Sun newspaper quoted her as saying: “Pete is the love of my life — and my life.
“We have children together and I am devastated and disappointed by Peter’s decision to separate and divorce me, as I married him for life.
“This is not what I want and the decision has been taken out of my hands. I will not comment further or do any interviews regarding the separation. But I will always love my Pete.”
If the pair do decide to divorce, they are likely to fight over their £30million-plus joint fortune
