Turning his passion into a profession, former City worker John Steinberg is making it in the arts.
Mr Steinberg, 57, abandoned the corporate world a few years ago to pursue a career in writing.
He has since formed comedy production company Steinberg and Kilby together with fellow writer Ray Kilby, and they are about to release their latest play.
Titled W for Banker, it is a contemporary farce about the financial crisis and what people will do in the pursuit of money. It is showing at Hampstead's New End Theatre, north London, from March 23.
Mr Steinberg tells People: "I have always been interested in comedy and started to write down funny lines that I had thought of. I took my notebook everywhere with me and realised writing is what I wanted to do."
He was introduced to Mr Kilby and the duo started working together on their debut play In the Balance.
W is for Banker; New End Theatre, March 23- April 18
