The JC Club is delighted to invite our subscribers to an evening at the British Library, giving you coveted and private access to remarkable artefacts from The Hebrew Collection which are being brought out of archive exclusively for this JC Club event.

Prepared by Ilana Tahan, Lead Curator of the Hebrew & Christian Orient Studies at the British Library, the 'show and tell' session will start with a short introduction by Ms Tahan to the extraordinary Hebrew collections held in the British Library, followed by an explanation of each item on display.

Original items from the collection will include:*
● The autograph responsum of Moses Maimonidies from the Cairo Genizah
● The Lisbon Bible
● A 15th century Portuguese manuscript
● A 16th century volume of the Bomberg Talmud printed in Venice
● The Amsterdam Haggadah, 1712

Tickets for this fascinating event are being offered first to our subscribers, but please note that there are only 20 places. Tickets are £150 per person; to book your place and for more information, please call us now on 020 7415 1550.
