The Immanuel College pupil enjoyed a star-studded barmitzvah celebration as his father Colin works in music management. Craig David and Travis were among the guests at the Dorchester party. Jack enjoys playing the guitar, piano and drums — and football for London Lions. There were barmitzvah ceremonies at the Western Wall in Jerusalem and at Edgware Synagogue

What was special about your simchah?
It was twinned in memory of Alfred Wilzig, who has the same birthday as me and was murdered in Auschwitz in 1943, aged 13. We spent a week in Israel with prayers said at Yad Vashem for both Alfred and my grandpa Harry, who was a concentration camp survivor. The ceremony at the Kotel was on Thursday and we returned to London for the Shabbat service at Edgware. Friends came from America and family from Israel. I was proud that my grandma Pauline, who suffers from dementia, made it to shul.

It was great to see the shul so full and vibrant. A highlight was the amazing choir and my father singing Shema B’ni to me.

Craig David, who has become a close family friend, came on stage to perform one of his songs, Time To Party, with me. And Kate Moss popped in for a drink near the end.
