Israeli swine flu case confirmed

Israel's first case of swine flu was confirmed today.

The victim, a 26-year-old man who had recently returned from Mexico, is in quarantine at Netanya's Laniado Hospital.

Staff are optimistic for his recovery and he is said to be in "excellent" condition.

Another Israeli is undergoing tests in quarantine in hospital at Kfar Sava, after returning from Mexico with fly-like symptoms.
