A north London dress company is adding some sparkle to Strictly Come Dancing judge Darcey Bussell's TV wardrobe.
Elana Patrice, a fashion distributor for evening wear and cocktail dresses, is a favourite of the judge on the BBC reality show.
"We've been supplying her with dresses for Strictly for over two years," said the company's founder, Elana Forman.
"Darcey is very elegant and contemporary. She likes long slits on long dresses because she has great legs. And she loves elegant neck lines; they work really well on her.
"She tends to like understated detail too, not too much beading and nothing too revealing."
The business, based in north London, specialises in labels such as Terani Couture, Nicole Bakti and Damianou.
It was discovered by Ms Bussell's stylist Carol Howard several years ago. She said: "Darcy has chosen Terani Couture to be worn on Strictly and at other events."
Ms Forman, who is a member of Hendon Synagogue, said: "We have a good selection of the brands her stylist was looking for. She was trying to source the brand Terani because she thought it would be right for Darcey. I think she found us online and Darcey actually wore a Teranin dress on the opening night of this year's series.
The company, which supplies to up-market boutiques all over the UK, will send 12 dresses - worth up to £1,000 - for the star to pick from.
Ms Forman said: "She won't wear all of them - it is just to give her and her stylist the option. We expect she'll wear up to six throughout the series.
Ms Forman started the company with friend Warren Leigh, 65, more than 30 years ago. She said: "We decided to become business partners and we've seen high-end evening wear boom over the years.
"I'm very proud that our company is associated with Darcy.
"She is a classy girl and people not only watch the show for the dancing, but they watch to see what everyone is wearing, so it is good for us."
