Forty people from across the community met at Kingfield Synagogue for a lecture by forensic pathologist Professor Chris Milroy. Professor Milroy discussed a mummified body, found in Pakistan in 2001, reputed to be that of a Persian princess. He related how when taking part in a BBC Horizon programme he was asked to establish if it was genuine. He explained that the mummy, wrapped in machine-made bandages, was a fraud.
