Forty five people attended a lecture entitled "My Journey from Christianity to Judaism" at Dublin Hebrew Congregation.

The speaker, Chicago-born Ahuvah Gray, told the audience about her work as a Christian minister in the African American community in Chicago and Los Angeles.

She outlined how in 1996 she fulfilled her spiritual yearnings to become a Jew. Ms Gray, who now lives in Jerusalem, wrote her autobiography My Sister, the Jew in 2004.
