Yavneh College in Borehamwood is to offer a bulge class next September, increasing its year-7 entry from 150 to 180.
The early decision to provide additional places will bring new hope to families given the current high demand for places at Jewish secondary schools in North-West London.
It is not the first time that the oversubscribed school has laid on a bulge class although it did not do so this year.
But JFS came to the aid of pupils who had no Jewish school to go to by providing a bulge class this September.
JCoSS has already launched a £4 million campaign to build extra classrooms which will enable it to permanently increase intake from 180 to 210
