UJS send exam survival packages to students

articlemain

The Union of Jewish Students is helping its members through the stressful exam period by distributing special survival packs containing chicken soup and cupcakes.

Students can choose to buy rations for themselves or parents can order one for their child complete with a personalised, handwritten card.

The £3.50 packs contain chicken soup, kosher Haribo sweets and a UJS pen.

As part of the "supper in a cuppa" project, UJS staff will also visit JSocs and Hillel houses around Britain to deliver cups of chicken soup and cakes for those in need of revision respite.

Richard Verber, UJS director of education and development, said: "Exams are a stressful time for Jewish students up and down the UK. With these two initiatives we hope to provide opportunities for a little relief for parents and students."
