More than 125 people took part in a football tournament in memory of Oxford University student Antonia Bruch.
Antonia, who was 18, had been studying theology at Regent's Park College for a month when she contracted meningitis and died last October.
The Lag b'Omer event, sponsored by University Jewish Chaplaincy, saw 25 teams compete in the five-a-side competition.
Other attractions included a kosher barbecue and an auction of football memorabilia.
Cara Singer, part of the organising team, said: "I've attended three separate memorial services for Antonia this year and have heard continually from her friends of her outgoing kindness, energy and dedication to everything she did.
"The extent to which Antonia so clearly gave of herself to others was evident. We wanted to honour her by bringing her friends from Regent's Park College and JSoc together to help a charity."
Proceeds from the event will be donated to Ma Afrika Tikkun, a Jewish community development project in South Africa.
