Manchester JSoc's final Friday Night Fever of the year saw speakers tackle the issue of the "brain-drain" of graduates leaving the city after completing their degrees.

Four members of UJIA's leadership programme discussed the perceived problem of students not interacting with the local Jewish community and then returning to their home cities after graduating, rather than starting their careers in the North West.

Lee Feddy gave an overview of the Manchester community and offered to set up a database of those seeking work experience in the hope they could be introduced to local businessmen offering internships.

Students were also encouraged to take up volunteering work at centres such as Manchester Jewish Museum.
