Immanuel College heads the leader board for Jewish schools for A-level results last summer, according to figures available from the Department for Education.
The private school in Bushey – which last week announced its closure at the end of term – and JFS achieved an average A grade in the 2025 sixthform exams.
For vocational qualifications, King Solomon High School in Redbridge took the honours.

Six Jewish schools made above average progress from GCSE to A-level, meaning they achieved higher grades in the latter than might have expected from their GCSE results.
Immanuel and Hasmonean High School for Boys performed well above average, according to the DfE data.
Menorah High School for Girls, which was the best performing Jewish school at GCSE, however rated below average for progress to A-level. This may be due to a significant number of girls leaving to study at seminary after GCSE rather than continue in secular education.

Ten Jewish schools achieved above the average national grade for A-levels, while seven above the average mark for the vocational applied general qualifications
The provisional GCSE results were published last November but have since been slightly revised, although they make no difference to the position of Jewish schools in the table.
Immanuel does not appear in the GCSE table because students sit international GCSEs for some subjects, which the DfE does not count in the performance data.
