Rabbi Natan Levy, the outgoing South West student chaplain, joined other faith leaders in a symbolic walk to highlight faith and the environment. The 30 participants set off from Bishop Declan Lang's house in Leigh Woods, crossed Bristol Suspension Bridge en route to Emmaus House, where they held a discussion on religious views on ecology. Rabbi Levy said : "This was a small but important step in affirming the spiritual dimension of ecological consciousness."
