A viewing of Eye Witness - 60 Years, the film about Israeli photojournalist David Rubinger, attracted a capacity crowd to a cinema at the city centre Printworks complex. At Sunday's private viewing, arranged by Manchester's Israel Information Centre, the audience could buy signed copies of Mr Rubinger's autobiography Israel Through My Lens. The photographer is famous for his iconic image of three paratroopers at the Western Wall when it came into Israeli hands in 1967. Event organiser Doreen Gerson said she was grateful for the help of the Israeli embassy.
