"Endurance artist" David Blaine has completed his batty challenge of hanging upside down for 60 hours, concluding the topsy-turvy stint by catching a bullet in his mouth. The ABC TV network showed the bizarre footage on a two-hour show, David Blaine: Dive of Death. The feat has not been without its problems though - spectators felt cheated when he was spotted in New York's Central Park standing up and being checked over by a doctor. Medics had warned him that hanging upside down for so long could cause all sorts of medical problems - even blindness - so many people conceded it was sensible to take a break and get a once-over. Some, however, perceived it as cheating. One blogger - Entertainment Weekly journalist Vanessa Juarez - was disappointed with what she saw: "When I got there, Blaine was taking a break. He was thirsty. And it was time for the doctors on hand to check his vital signs. So there he was: standing upright, drinking bottled water. Finally, after 15 minutes or so, Blaine went back to being upside-down. There wasn't much to see. He just hung." I'm not sure what she expected to see exactly. Meanwhile, Blaine has responded to critics who say he shouldn't have taken breaks to relieve himself. "I'm not going to pee all over myself to satisfy those people."

On The Road Again, her new cooking road-show programme, wearing a pair of £15,000 diamond-encrusted stilettos. Who said the credit crunch was affecting us all?

Lucas told the BBC: "There's no better director to work with than someone who's had experience himself of performing in front of an audience. We'd love to work with him again - he's got a fantastic comedy mind." The duo are also backing a UK version of Will Ferrell's US comedy website. Both the sites, www.funnyordie.com and www.funnyordie.co.uk, are host to a mix of sketches by big-name comics and little-known comedians. The UK version features exclusive sketches from Little Britain, while Stateside it has proved a massive success, with Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria and Paris Hilton having made appearances.

The former glamour model, who has in recent times been trying to appear classier, revealed her buttocks in the skimpy item she chose to wear. Why you might ask would she do such a thing? Oh, of course, it's got us talking about her and her new fragrance. Underestimate what Katie Price has up top (and down below) at your peril.
