Cosgrove Care concluded its “Faces of Art” project with an exhibition at the Maccabi Centre. Two hundred people viewed “Faces of Art”, a culmination of six months of work by eight people aged 18 to 22.
The project consisted of a series of workshops in music, dance, drama and visual arts that were designed to support the emotional and mental health needs of people with learning disabilities. Cosgrove chief executive Walter Hecht said: “This exhibition was a great opportunity for the public to appreciate how people with learning disabilities are able to convey their own experiences and emotions through art.”
