With no kosher supplies for miles, leaders of LJY-Netzer brought plenty of matzah for the 100 participants in its spring camp Seder in Sussex.
Although the vast quantity provided exceeded demand, they put their Liberal values into action by donating the surplus three crate-loads to a local homeless charity.
Movement worker Hannah Stephenson said: “We try to provide the chance to explore Judaism in a fun and exciting way, while also providing Jewish experiences for those who haven’t had them before.
“This is the first time [camp] has taken place on Pesach for 20 year so we wanted to make it special. And it truly was."
