In a first, Maccabi GB is sponsoring the Seder services held in Jewish Care’s 11 residential homes. 

Although around 80 per cent of the 650 residents are living with dementia, the charity points out that festival observance is so ingrained that such memories are more likely to remain.

"These moments have an enormous impact on an individual’s well-being," said Jewish Care chief executive Simon Morris. "We are very grateful to Maccabi GB.”

Other partnerships with Maccabi include an annual Bowls on the Lawn event, chair aerobics sessions in community centres and volunteering support.
