There’s no fudging it: the suites (or should it be sweets) are choc-a-bloc with chocolate-tones

Given all the chocoholics in the world, it's surprising it took so long for a hotel to arrive that is dedicated to their whims, and OD'ing on the sweet stuff is not hard to do at the 13-room Chocolate Boutique Hotel in the West Cliff area of Bournemouth.

An Edwardian house painted Milky Bar cream piped in chocolate brown, its rooms are named for the varieties foodies are likely to seek out in their local Waitrose.

Ours, called Seventy Per Cent, was beautifully decorated with headboards and wall panels in chocolate and gold printed silk. Even the brown waffle cotton towels looked like soft chocolate bars, and naturally, there is in-room chocolate galore - milk, dark, white and fruit-flavour.  Our only complaint was that clothes-hanging space was set a bit too high.

The piece de resis-tance for many guests is the in-room choc fountain you can order to await your arrival - with strawberries and marshmallows for dipping.
