A septuagenarian member of Brighton and Hove Hebrew Congregation raised £1,500 for Cancer Research UK in a sponsored abseiling down Peacehaven Cliffs. Cynthia Barnett abseiled 115 feet from the cliff-top to the under-path to raise funds in memory of her father, Solly Greenbergh and a friend, Myra Franks, who both died of the disease. She said: "It was pretty hairy, but I got there in the end."
