Members of London's Indian and Jewish communities joined forces for a Bollywood dance evening in Edgware.

Organised by four Hasmonean year nine girls, the cross-cultural event supported the Wings of Hope charity, providing educational facilities in India and Malawi.

The girls decorated a hall at the Edgware Yeshurun synagogue in suitable style and arranged henna body art for guests.

Dancers from the nearby Indian community taught participants the steps to a traditional Indian routine.
