New Charity Commissioner may not be good news for campaigners against anti-Israel Charities

November 24, 2016 22:53

The Labour Government - with its representative Dame Susie Leather as chair of the Charities Commission - may just have made life even harder for those of us campaigning against anti-Israel Charities such as War On Want. It has replaced a retiring Commissioner by the Secretary General of Amnesty International (Amnesty is not even a Charity!)

Irene Khan has also worked more than twenty-one years at the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.
