"My particular flawed pedigree and personality"

November 24, 2016 22:54

This was how Colonel Desmond Travers - Goldstone Commissioner - at last responded tonight (in a committee room in the UK Parliament) to the question of why he thinks that "British foreign policy is strongly influenced by Jewish lobbyists" (he said it in an interview with Middle East Monitor last month). Mind you, it took several attempts to get him to answer the question, both tonight and at LSE on 8 March:

Again Travers used the 'Tonge Manoeuvre': sow the seed of something outrageous about Israel without actually committing yourself to saying it happened. Tonight it was DIME weapons: Travers suspected these were used though he has no proof. (They weren't). And uranium, in bombs to blow up tunnels (it wasn't).

And his willingness to believe evidence seems to depend on whether it vilifies or supports Israel. Thus he told the meeting that 65 Italian scientists wrote to him today to say they had found toxic chemicals including uranium in hair samples in Gaza. And he believes the testimony of 'Breaking the Silence' - even though none of the IDF veterans is willing to identify himself.

But of course he refuses to believe the photos of evidence that mosques in Gaza were used to store armaments, here:

And Colonels Kemp and Collins - who has looked at some of the mosques in Gaza and says there is evidence of secondary explosions, meaning they were used as armaments stores - have to have been got at by these nefarious "Jewish lobbyists" who control British foreign policy.

"My particular flawed pedigree and personality"................

And we are supposed to accept he's unbiased?

Are those flying pigs?
