Fighter Command's headquarters for the Battle of Britain is being redeveloped. Three housebuilders are at work in the 18th-century mansion house and on the 57 acres of parkland. Property developer Barratt Homes is building 93 new homes, designed by ADAM Architecture. Among the facilities and amenities at Bentley Priory are a 24 hour onsite concierge service and formal Italian Gardens. The four-bedroom homes are available to move into immediately, with prices starting at £1,799,950. Banner Homes is also building houses on the site. Agent is Preston Bennett New Homes.

Meanwhile, City & Country's show apartment is two bedrooms with 1,100 sq ft of living space. Prices start at £525,000. The former RAF Bentley Priory was originally built in 1766 and served as the headquarters of fighter command for the Battle of Britain. The show apartment will be one of 21 apartments and houses in the 17th century mansion house and its adjoining buildings.

Residents at Bentley Priory have a range of good schools to choose from locally, three golf courses nearby and health and fitness clubs.
