Members of the Jewish community in Muswell Hill will be taking part in various different mitzvah projects.
Families with young children will be baking cakes and hosting a tea party at Rosetrees, a care home for elderly people in Friern Barnet.

Stalls will be set up outside Marks and Spencers and Sainsbury's in Muswell Hill where volunteers will be encouraging shoppers to buy an extra item of shopping which will be donated to local projects supporting people in need. Projects being supported include; Haringey Play Association and the Penbury Children's Centre.

Each of the projects being supported has written their own shopping list with items including pasta, fruit juice and dried fruit.

Children from the Synagogue GCSE class will take part in a ‘packathon' - packing boxes of donated items to send to families in need in Eastern Europe.
