Back in the 1980s in Brighton, an Israeli father started grappling with the challenge of his son's bedwetting. Now, three decades later, his experiences have yielded what could be the answer the the prayers of millions of parents.
The father, Jacob Sagie, who was at the time an Israeli emissary based on the south coast, became a therapist who has helped thousands of children towards dry nights through face-to-face sessions. And now he has teamed up with his formerly-bedwetting son, Tal, to make the therapy high-tech.
They created an online therapist who guides parents and their child through a programme to stop bedwetting - and based on its first few hundred users, it has a 92.3 per cent success rate.
Tal said that parents input details about their child and his or her habits, and using a special algorithm, a "tailor-made" programme is generated.
Tal added that the take-home kit, called TheraPee, costs around $280. He added that it was far cheaper than face-to-face therapy.
