Abridge swept the board in the Men's team competitions at the AJGCS's Metropolitan Tournament at Dyrham Park Country Club.

The Essex club secured the Lawrence Fisher trophy for the combined ladies/men's net scores.

The highlight of the day was provided by Stephen Schindler of Dyrham Park. He holed his second shot on the par 5 12th, thus achieving the rare feat of an albatross on his way to a gross 75 which secured his second place for best men's gross. Abridge's Barry Green edged home with a score of 74.

Dyrham Park enjoyed a clean sweep in the ladies team trophies, with Laura Rael Brook producing the best gross score with a fine 81, beating Anna Suh of Coombe Hill into second place.
