MGBSFL DIVISION TWO
LONDON HAROLDEANS 5 BLIZZARD STORM 3

Haroldeans came from behind twice in a rollercoaster of a match which saw James Abrams seal a deserved win by scoring two goals in the closing minutes of the game.

Blizzard Storm opened the scoring after sloppy defending cost Haroldeans for the second game in a row. Prolific veteran Oli Joseph soon showed why he was brought to the club in the summer, showing great tenancity by pulling two goals back, both from corners; the first with a powerful drive after a scramble in the box, the second with a header directly from the corner kick.

After an end-to-end first half, the second was no less exciting. Marcus Mann, the 'Leeds Luthario' took the game by the scruff of the neck, flicking and tricking his way down the left wing before cutting inside and whipping a wonderstrike into the top corner giving the Blizzard keeper no chance as he could only watch the ball fly into the net. Mann celebrated by holding his shirt aloft, luckily the referee saw the funny side, others may have shown a yellow.
